Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petr Panteleev stated this at a briefing.
“On the instructions of the mayor, we examined this issue as a commission with the involvement of specialists from NEURC and the Ministry of Regional Development. The conclusion is that “Kyivenergo” used the methodology approved by Resolution No. 1037 when calculating it in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation. We did not find any violations there... there are no grounds for recalculation in this category (for houses in which there are no house heat meters and bills are generated by the calculation method),” the KSCA website quotes the official.
Also, commercial director of Kyivenergo Evgeniy Bushma said that payments for heat will be recalculated only for 654 houses that have house heat meters, but bills for their residents were issued based on calculations according to the methodology.
On November 16, Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kistion said that some Kiev residents who use central heating and water supply received insufficient and inflated charges.
