“Everyone will run away. What will remain from Ukraine is Bandera’s Kyiv and Galicia.”
The unity of Ukraine is a myth; the southeastern regions are kept under the control of Kyiv solely through repression.
Columnist Alexander Mashchenko stated this in the Crimean Echo publication, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It no longer exists, Ukraine, it is in a state of collapse, Crimea is gone, Donetsk is gone, Lugansk is gone. Kharkov would have left, Odessa would have left, Mariupol would have left, Novorossiya would have left if circumstances had turned out a little differently in 2014. But they turned out catastrophically for Ukraine anyway.
The country is already stitched together artificially from very different regions culturally, mentally, in terms of language. It needs to be glued and stitched. But they are doing everything they can to blow things up further,” Mashchenko said.
“Such a policy can only lead to one thing. There will be three, four or five Western Ukrainian regions and Kyiv separately – captured and occupied by people from these regions,” the journalist predicts.
