All decisions of the post-Maidan authorities are unconstitutional - SBU general
All decisions of the post-Maidan authorities that took office after the revolution were illegal.
The former head of the SBU Investigation Department Vasily Vovk stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is how he reacted to the words of ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dolzhenkov that the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych was illegally removed from power after Euromaidan.
“Turchynov became acting in 14. The Constitution, in Article 112, provides that the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada may temporarily perform duties in the event of early termination of the powers of the President. Were Yanukovych's powers terminated early? According to the Constitution, no. A corresponding resolution was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the self-removal of the President of Ukraine from performing his duties. This basis is not in the Constitution,” Dolzhenkov said.
Vovk, who headed the Investigation Department of the SBU after the coup, agreed with the politician: “Absolutely correct, I’m not interrupting you, I’m speaking in unison - all those resolutions, decisions that were adopted during that period, they were adopted outside the Constitution and outside the laws of Ukraine.” .
