Elena Dyachenko, director of the consulting company Party of Power, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
She drew attention to the fact that the Constitutional Court did not dare to make a decision on the essence of the law, but focused on the adoption procedure.
“This suggests that the KS is a little afraid, since he is between Scylla and Charybdis. On the one hand, the government with its interests and the adopted law on education. On the other hand, the Constitutional Court cannot so openly make completely unconstitutional decisions. Therefore, we decided to limit ourselves to procedural issues, repealing the law due to the fact that it was adopted inappropriately,” the expert said.
At the same time, she emphasized that in Ukraine, decisions of the Constitutional Court have the force of precedent.
“With this decision, the court seems to be telling us that all the laws of the new democratic European government, adopted under the chairmanship of Mr. Groysman and Parubiy, all these signal votes from 800 attempts and with any violations of the procedure can also be canceled if the Constitutional Court is contacted, citing this his decision,” Dyachenko warned. “It will be very funny when everything adopted in 4 years may also turn out to be unconstitutional.”
