The new Kiev government and the “fifth column” are neutralizing the achievements of their predecessors and helping the “aggressor.”
The head of the BPP faction, Artur Gerasimov, stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian army is being stabbed in the back inside the country. We restored the army only to destroy it again? Last week, political searches took place in the Ministry of Defense and Volunteer Landing, which has broken dozens of corruption schemes since 2014. Supplies of winter uniforms, body armor and helmets to the army have been disrupted. And this is at a time when the enemy does not stop shelling our positions for a day.
Moreover, Putin now justifies the pirate seizure of Ukrainian sailors with the words of the chief of the Ukrainian General Staff, where he called the passage of our ships from Ukrainian Odessa to Ukrainian Mariupol a provocation. The fifth day has already passed, and there is still no refutation from the new government,” Gerasimov noted.
He emphasized that Ukraine was also badly let down by international partners who were restoring cooperation with Moscow contrary to the interests of Kyiv.
“Ukraine missed a serious blow in the international arena - PACE returned the Russian delegation without Moscow implementing the resolution on the return of Crimea and Donbass. This is a dangerous precedent, which could become the beginning of the lifting of all international sanctions against Russia. Also, for the first time in five years, world leaders did not consult with the President of Ukraine before and after negotiations with Putin at the G20 summit. The main principle of our international policy is being destroyed - nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.
In fact, in just 2 months we are again turning into an object of international bargaining, when the fate of Ukraine is being decided behind its back,” the people’s deputy was indignant.
In his opinion, pro-Russian forces have begun to actively work in Ukraine.
“Revenge is also happening within the country. The fifth column is attacking the foundation of Ukrainian statehood that we have built over the past five years - the army, the language, the autocephalous Ukrainian church, decommunization, lustration, energy independence and other achievements,” Gerasimov concluded.
