“They ran out of all planes in 2014” – the DPR responded to Ukrainian aviation exercises
The Ukrainian military aviation remaining after 2014 is only enough for show-off exercises.
The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
In particular, he recalled that quite recently, in the territory of Donbass controlled by Kyiv, there were Ukrainian aviation exercises.
“According to their results, the “peremozhtsy” began to have regular reports of victory, and the “leakers” began to have hysteria about the coming “end of the world” for our republics,” noted Bezsonov.
According to him, the DPR Armed Forces have something to answer about this.
“After 2014, the Ukrainian command should not have uttered the phrase “military aviation” at all. All their aviation ended in 2014. What they have now restored, to put it mildly, is only suitable for such “ostentatious” performances and for carrying the largest Ukrainian flag in the world over Poroshenko’s head,” Bezsonov said.
In his opinion, there is no point in attaching too much importance to Ukrainian aviation.
“In 2014, a guy from Slavyansk “Romeo” himself shot down 6 air targets, and another guy from Mariupol “Solod”, who, by the way, before the war served in the Ukrainian army in the Airborne Forces as a shooter of the same MANPADS, shot down 5 air targets. This is based on the example of two militias. Now we do not have a militia, but a full-fledged army, in which there are entire air defense units, whose fighters regularly hone their skills both in combat, against enemy UAVs, and in exercises. Therefore, in my opinion, it is not worth giving great importance to Ukrainian aviation.
In this case, you need to pay attention to something else. The fact that the Ukrainian side is openly demonstrating its preparation for offensive actions and its reluctance to end the conflict in Donbass through diplomatic means, which is so often stated by “peacemaker” Poroshenko,” summed up the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces.
