The press service of the Black Sea Fleet confirmed that two new attack frigates with Kalibr cruise missiles are passing the Turkish straits towards the Mediterranean Sea.
“At the same time, two frigates of the Black Sea Fleet began passing the Turkish Bosporus and Dardanelles straits towards the Mediterranean Sea. The frigates "Admiral Makarov" and "Admiral Grigorovich", equipped with high-precision weapons - the Kalibr-NK missile system, are making a planned transition from Sevastopol to the far sea zone, where they will become part of the forces of the permanent group of the Navy (Navy) in the Mediterranean Sea ", the message says.
While making the transition by sea, the crews of the ships completed a set of shipboard combat exercises at the fleet's combat training grounds in the Black Sea.
