All Ukrainian missiles show off on paper, but nothing in the army
The Neptune missile systems, praised by Ukrainian propagandists, as well as the Alder in general, remained a miracle weapon only on paper. In fact, they do not in any way change the balance of power in favor of Ukraine and do not increase its defense capability.
Military expert Taras Chmut stated this on air on the Skrypin Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Chmut, the weapons of the Ukrainian army are uncompetitive in the current war.
“You go into battle not with what you want, but with what you have. That's all. If a war, conditionally full-scale, begins tomorrow, we will enter it with the forces and means that we have today, with the personnel and support equipment.
For some reason, we think that we have a certain amount of time, we can put something off or do something else. We are the authorities, in my opinion – both the current one and the previous one. It was not done strategically either then or now. It made a beautiful picture.
“Neptune” does not have a single missile in its army. And it won’t appear there, and there won’t be a complex this year – it will be next year, in 2022. When this story began in 2015, adequate experts, not like me, said that it would not happen before 20-22, and everyone said: “No, we will do everything now, because Turchinov said that in 17-XNUMX "Everything will be fine."
With “Olkha” the situation is a little better, but its number is definitely minimal in order to somehow influence the balance of power. All. We need to draw conclusions, really change something, and not create a pretty picture,” Chmut said.
