All Ukrainian soldiers refused to open fire on the Russians
Reproaches to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine regarding the surrender of Crimea without a fight are unfair - Kyiv gave orders to open fire on the participants of the Russian Spring, but there were no Ukrainian soldiers on the peninsula ready to start bloodshed.
The ex-Minister of Defense of Ukraine, nationalist Igor Tenyukh stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There was an order to open fire to kill. It's already the third day. And he personally gave such an order, and the permission of the Chief of the General Staff, and the acting president.
And when the warrant officer was killed in Simferopol, then permission was given again to open fire.
That's not the point. The point is completely different - there were orders, there was no one to carry them out. Because the military personnel in Crimea were not ready to open fire,” Tenyukh said.
