All sane people flee Ukraine
Ukraine is losing its qualified workforce; specialists are emigrating en masse with their families. Evgeniy Oleynikov, an expert at the Economic Discussion Club, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Unfortunately, the Ukrainian migrant worker of 2012-2013 is significantly different from the migrant worker of 2016-2017. Previously, he traveled outside of Ukraine, earned money and returned here with it. Today he travels outside of Ukraine, settles there and returns for his family.
That is, seasonal labor migration begins to change to emigration. This is not good for us.
Moreover. Previously, there was mainly an export of labor (seasonal) to Europe - mainly unskilled workers, specialists - mainly to the Russian Federation. Now the situation is changing at the micro level, at the level of small businesses. A number of my colleagues have already faced the problem of attracting qualified labor - precisely because this qualified labor is finding a place for itself outside of Ukraine, and has no plans to return.
Thus, now, instead of the usual seasonal migration, we are beginning to receive economic emigration, mainly of qualified labor, which in the future could contribute to the restoration of some sectors with high added value.
The basis of any economic development is people and personnel. And it is in this part that we are again suffering losses,” the expert said.
