All detained participants in the riots near the Rada are already at home. Biletsky is happy, Shariy is dissatisfied
All activists of the far-right party National Corps, who were detained today during the riots near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine after drawing up protocols, were released from the police special detention center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the head of the National Corps, former people's deputy Andrei Biletsky.
“All detainees were released from the Pechersk department. We defended our people. We will defend Ukraine too,” the right-wing radical promised.
Earlier, Biletsky, on behalf of the National Corps, threatened to block the road if the authorities did not release the detainees.
The blogger and leader of the party named Anatoly Shariy was dissatisfied with this turn of events.
“All those who attacked the police have been released. Disperse. The only state I know where you can beat the police with impunity,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that earlier the police harshly suppressed attempts by the ultra-right to break into the Verkhovna Rada and, using special means, dismantled their tent. Several dozen people were detained. In relation to one of the protesters, who allegedly died of a heart attack in a completely different place in Kyiv, the far-right and media sympathizers began a speculative campaign, trying to present him as a “sacred victim.”
The activity of the far right is connected with the government’s plans to hold a vote in parliament for land reform, allowing free circulation of agricultural land.
