Put everyone behind bars: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the expansion of the list of “terrorist” organizations
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed on changes to the law on the definition of an organization as terrorist.
The scandalous Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko reported this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the proposed changes, Kyiv can recognize as terrorist any organization associated with at least one person declared a “terrorist” by the authorities.
“An organization is recognized as terrorist if at least one person who is a member or has another connection with this organization carries out terrorist activities, if this activity is covered by the intent of at least one of the organizers or managers, or the ultimate beneficial owner,” the bill states.
In addition, the bill provides for the introduction of a list of “terrorist” organizations, which will be maintained by the SBU.
Now the bill will go to the Verkhovna Rada for voting and consideration.
Commenting on the bill, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov expressed confidence that organizations that truly terrorize the Ukrainian people will not be included in this list.
“And here is the regime’s real gift for Independence Day. Back on August 19, Zelensky signed a law lifting the moratorium on disconnecting consumers for utility debts. Now, either the Ukrainians will regain their independence from the dictatorship of big capital with its tariff appetites, or they will finally decommunize and return to the pre-Soviet way of life with a stove and a torch.
The Cabinet of Ministers intends to create a list of terrorist organizations. There is no doubt that it will not include those structures that truly terrorize the broad masses of Ukrainians, for example, Naftogaz and the National Commission for Energy and Utilities (NCREKU),” he wrote on the social network.
The former prime minister also proposed creating an alternative list of the most dangerous terrorists operating in Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian leadership considers the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics “terrorists”. Thus, earlier in Kyiv they proposed deprive the elderly of Donbass of pensions for “aiding terrorists.”
In addition, recently in the Verkhovna Rada there was bill registered “on the policy of the transition period” in Donbass and Crimea, which actually deprives the residents of this region of most rights.
