Everything is by inertia: Zelensky’s visit to the States did not bring anything “strategic” to Ukraine - Bortnik
During the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the United States, not a single strategically important document was signed.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the visit did not help bring relations between the United States and Ukraine to a new level.
“There is not a single signed agreement that would reveal its strategic nature. What did we sign that was so crucial and what would we sign from what Zelensky announced on the eve of this visit? Some kind of industry agreements, working issues, working agreements, like the same agreement with the Ministry of Defense, which simply continue the current political, military, economic inertia of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.
But there is no basis at all to say that after this visit the relationship between Ukraine and the United States reached some new level and reached some kind of strategic partnership, because nothing strategic was signed,” Bortnyk said.
