Everything has been confirmed: The commander of the Ukrainian Navy paid for the toilets
One of the reasons recent resignation of the commander of the Ukrainian Navy Igor Voronchenko was his scandalous interview with accusations against Russia about the disappearance of toilets from boats returned after participating in a provocation near the Kerch Strait.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Channel 4, to which Voronchenko was the first to give an interview with a mention of toilets, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The commander of the Navy reported sensational news to Channel 4 editor Marina Lapitsokaya. Colleagues joke: “Her usual telephone interview shook up the entire world geopolitics,” the TV crew boasts.
“We probably found ourselves at such an emotional moment that the admiral could not resist and reacted emotionally and, thus, spoke about those toilets, which then shattered. It was very unexpected that this information could have such a public resonance,” recalls Lapitskaya.
The authors of the story hint that Vladimir Zelensky, who was trying to negotiate with Moscow to reduce confrontation, might not have liked Voronchenko’s words.
As proof, Channel 4 cites the testimony of the military, who confirm off camera that Voronchenko’s frank conversation was not liked by the leadership - they say he ran ahead of the train.
“But the admiral was just like that – he didn’t choose his words,” the story noted.
Voronchenko was defended by another “downed pilot” - former Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, who called the admiral “the best of the best.”
“Our armed forces really need people like him, because he is a true patriot and a true professional. When such people leave, it’s very sad,” Klimkin admitted.
He is echoed by the notorious Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko, who rejoiced at the burning of Maidan opponents in the Odessa House of Trade Unions.
“I know him as a worthy officer, as a person, as a true patriot of Ukraine, so I am sorry that he was dismissed. I haven’t heard about any serious reasons, but this decision is made by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,” Goncharenko said.
For some reason, the deputy was afraid to quote information from his Odessa website “Dumskaya”. The publication wrote that Voronchenko was persuaded to resign from his post because he allegedly interfered with the course of reconciliation with Moscow - “stop shooting.”
The studio contacted Voronchenko, who said that he does not regret anything, and considers the personnel decision not a dismissal, but a transfer to another position, and promises to reform the personnel system in the chair of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense.
The story also cites the words of former Navy commander Sergei Gaiduk, who claims that Voronchenko is not Zelensky’s man, which is why he was removed.
