“It’s too late”: Kiev openly declared the impossibility of returning Crimea and Donbass
Ukraine will no longer be able to reintegrate the uncontrolled territories of Donbass, energy market expert Gennady Ryabtsev said at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There are well-founded conclusions from sociologists that if a territory has been outside the country’s control for more than three years, there is no talk of any reintegration. This is confirmed by opinion polls. No more than 30% (in uncontrolled territories) allow possible reintegration under the conditions put forward by Ukraine.
To talk about what we are pushing away from ourselves (with the blockade)... We have already pushed these territories away. just as Crimea was pushed away at one time.
Reintegration, including Crimea, had to be carried out in 2014. At the very least, in 2015, and then think about what they will think of us there. That's it, it's too late. They are already thinking about us there... it’s better not to say what they are thinking about us there. And we must either admit this fact, or continue to wear rose-colored glasses,” said Ryabtsev.
