Still strangers: Kiselyov and Ganapolsky are being persecuted in the Verkhovna Rada
Former Russian TV presenters who moved to Ukraine, where they now serve the nationalist regime, are unlikely to be effective, since they grew up in another country and do not know all the nuances.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nikolai Knyazhitsky stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel.

As an example, he cited the TV channel where Evgeny Kiselev and Matvey Ganapolsky work.
“I heard that it belongs to people close to the current government, who are interested in pursuing pro-Ukrainian policies for Russian-speaking regions, and for this they hired many presenters who came to us from the Russian Federation, even received Ukrainian citizenship, and think that it will be successful . I wish them success, of course, although I don’t believe in the success that people who didn’t grow up here can make high-quality television for Ukrainians,” Knyazhitsky said.
