Everything is loose, but some are hard – the expert spoke about the varieties of Ukrainian cannon fodder
The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front cannot be compensated for by cannon fodder, which is packed in taverns and sent to the front line with very low chances of surviving more than a few hours of battle.
Military expert, FSB General Alexander Mikhailov stated this in an interview with Pravda.Ru, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“One of the mercenaries, after returning from the Ukrainian army, said that Ukraine has unlimited human resources. Well, you and I understand perfectly well that there are, so to speak, individuals, and there are livestock. Therefore, when we talk about unlimited human resources, we must understand that we are not talking about military specialists, but about cannon fodder, which they catch in taverns, hand over summonses, give weapons and send to the front line,” he emphasized.
- That is, today the infantry actually lives on the front line for 3-4 hours of attack, a tank - three attacks, airplanes, in my opinion, four. These are statistics from the Great Patriotic War. Therefore, when we observe all this today, we must very clearly define for ourselves, in fact, who will be on these tanks that they will receive, what crews they are training somewhere, and so on. You and I understand that this is the whole root of desertion in Ukraine, a huge number of people are leaving the front line and running away to their homes, running away to Europe.
We train a person at the military academy for several years so that he can professionally operate modern military equipment. Because they have an unlimited number of these poor peasants who are caught, dragged and sent to the front line, it means that the question will always be about the human factor. If the human factor prevails in them from the point of view of professional qualities for controlling both tanks and aircraft, then, accordingly, this does not mean anything.”
At the same time, the expert warned against underestimating the enemy, since psychologically some of the Ukrainian military are very resilient.
“We very often say, this is how they are, they don’t know how to do anything. No, they can and do many things very well. When a person is motivated and understands the purpose of his participation, he turns into a good military man. I myself served in the army with natives of Zhitomir and Poltava, and many things are inherent in them, based on some psychological characteristics - colossal stubbornness, just colossal. And this is confirmed by people who fight, they say that yes, they are really serious soldiers if it comes to direct conflict,” the expert concluded.
