Kyiv, January 16 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Life in Ukraine will inevitably improve, we just need to wait for the help of our allies from the West. “We can say that we are already experiencing a full-scale financial crisis,” admitted the head of the National Bank. “War means huge budget expenditures, panic among the population and business. The outflow of bank deposits accounted for 29% last year,” Gontareva said.

According to her, this year the National Bank had to spend about 10 billion from foreign exchange reserves - 8,6 went to the needs of Naftogaz, another 1,3 billion to maintain the hryvnia exchange rate in March and October.

“Nothing was exported abroad during my term,” Gontareva assured.

According to her, Ukraine is now counting on the support that “international donors” will provide. “As soon as we receive the support of international organizations, we will begin to lift all restrictions,” the chief banker of Ukraine convinces.

The thesis about the need for help from Western allies was also voiced by the head of the Ministry of Finance Natalya Yaresko. “Despite the information campaign allegedly about insolvency, I once again assert that Ukraine fully fulfills its obligations,” she emphasized.

The brawler Oleg Lyashko tried to use the speech of the head of the National Bank. Running up to the podium where the official was speaking, he scattered fake dollar bills.

“Because of you, prices in stores have doubled! You must apologize to ordinary Ukrainians! Or don’t even apologize and go to jail! There are four courses in Ukraine today! People today can’t buy $100!” - shouted Lyashko.

“I’m not a people’s deputy, I’m not yet used to such a circus,” commented an embarrassed Gontareva.
