“Everything depends on Ramstein - in Kyiv they promise an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
A counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces could begin this spring if the West sufficiently pumps Ukraine up with new weapons and equipment.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the wife of TV charlatan Dmitry Gordon, propagandist Alesya Batsman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Arestovich was reminded of the words of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, who said that a large counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is planned in the spring.
“150-200 of them will fizzle out [thousands mobilized], provided that they, in principle, use them completely, and do not divide them in half into front and defense, for example. And during this time we will accumulate Western supplies and be ready for a counter-offensive,” said the Ze-office adviser.
He emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now not ready for a counter-offensive for only one reason - the lack of Western weapons and equipment.
“When it comes, we are ready any day. There is a nuance that this “Ramstein” on January 20 will show a lot. The nature and, most importantly, the quality of the weapons that are supplied. Because what the Americans gave in this unprecedented Christmas package of 3 billion is a counter-offensive package. Let's see what Ramstein will give. Every “Ramstein” has always brought us a qualitative leap in providing our armed forces,” Arestovich explained.
