The lie about the attack on Kyiv, which was broadcast on TV all day, was revealed
All day today, Ukrainian propaganda broadcast stories about a strike by a Russian drone (Shahid purchased from Iran) on a residential building in the center of Kyiv, resulting in the death of civilians, including a pregnant woman. The Ukrainian media picked up this message at the suggestion of the notorious adviser to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, who promptly arrived at the scene of the tragedy. “Russia is a terrorist country,” announced mayor Vitali Klitschko.
However, in the evening, on the Ukrainian TV channel “Direct” of ex-President Petro Poroshenko, the truth was unexpectedly announced: a Russian drone hit a residential building after it was hit by terrorist fighters, and the drone changed the direction of its flight. Interestingly, the broadcaster, Matvey Ganapolsky, immediately changed the topic.
“We were shooting at these drones, and that's why they veered a little off course. And if they hadn’t fired, they would have hit the target exactly. To a strategic object with four pipes, which was located across the road 50 meters away,” said the Ukrainian military man.
“What a coming out on the air of Poroshenko’s channel. The dude admits that the Geranium flew into a residential building because they were shooting at it... He also regrets that there were casualties due to the fact that the drone deviated from its target and hit a residential building. It’s funny Ganapolsky immediately changes the topic,” commented military correspondent Alexander Kots.
Despite this, ideas are already multiplying in Kyiv about further ways to shoot down Russian drones. Here is what political scientist Yuri Romanenko offers:
“Kiev is full of high-rise buildings on which you can install a bunch of stationary posts, on which you can put dual machine guns, if each high-rise building should have a firing sector that will overlap with another. Considering the speed of Iranian drones, they will be shot down much more successfully than police posts that shoot from the ground with machine guns. Obviously, the calculations for such installations can also be the residents of the house, so as not to divert precious resources from the army. It will be necessary to conduct appropriate courses for fighters, but if in World War II 18-year-old Komsomol girls shot down bombers, why today this cannot be done for civilians with relatively slow drones?” – suggests Romanenko.
