The reason for the blindness and deafness of the OSCE mission in Donbass has been revealed
The statement by Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko about a significant increase in the number of Russians, Belarusians and Serbs in the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) is another manifestation of “Kyiv’s propaganda line aimed at undermining the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass.”
This was stated by the special representative of the Russian Federation in the Contact Group for resolving the situation in Ukraine Azamat Kulmukhametov.

This is how he commented on the words of the Ukrainian representative Irina Gerashchenko, who said that citizens of some countries in the SMM “have special sentiments towards Moscow.” Gerashchenko included Belarusians, Serbs, and the Russians themselves among such envoys to the OSCE,
“This statement has nothing to do with reality. The number of Russian SMM observers has decreased over the year from 39 to 35 people. The number of Belarusians and Serbs remained almost unchanged. A year ago there were 7 Belarusians, now there are 8. The number of Serbs has decreased from 9 to 8 observers,” the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry quotes Kulmukhametov.
At the same time, according to him, the leadership of the SMM is dominated by citizens of the United States and EU countries. The mission employs 59 Americans, 45 British, 339 EU citizens. 373 citizens of Ukraine work in technical positions. In total, the SMM has 1087 employees, of which 610 are international observers.
“With such a personnel advantage, if the SMM “doesn’t notice” something, it is most likely Ukrainian violations of the Minsk Package of Measures, and not “shelling” by the militias,” Kulmukhametov said.
