This is reported by the portal "Zaxid" with reference to the Express newspaper.
“I didn’t personally give money to Tyagnibok, I gave it to Pups (nickname of Igor Krivetsky - editor’s note). So that they don’t say that a crime boss gave money for the party. Thus, Bobblehead would transfer my money on his behalf. I cut off funding for the entire party,” Didukh said.
According to him, he began funding the party back when Svoboda members began as deputies in local councils and were “naked and barefoot.”
“At first it was 500 thousand, then a million, then two, then three. Then eight were given. In total, $48 million. There were times when I saw Tyagnibok every day. At the Fashion Club,” the businessman said.
He also stated that he actually helped Freedom to be born. However, after the party “sold” the nationalist idea with which it won the parliamentary elections, funding was stopped.
“When they met with Yanukovych’s people, for example, with Kurchenko, I said: he imports billions of gasoline into the country under the guise of transit, and then drowns it within the country without paying taxes. Get him wet. You must stop such schemes, you are the opposition. And Pups told me: “He gives us more money.” And so our relationship began to break down. They took money from Sivkovich and from others. And when they put Makhnitsky in the chair of Prosecutor General, it’s generally scary to say what started. “Svoboda” began to take money everywhere and for everything. No one took a step there without Pups,” explained Didukh.
According to him, Svoboda, in particular in the person of Igor Krivetsky, was doing business with the odious oligarch Dmitry Firtash: “They can now deny Firtash, but if Firtash’s property was registered on Pups’s mother, then how can they deny it?”
According to him, he demands that the party functionaries return the money he spent on Svoboda.
“They, being in power, accepted 600 million. Look at what hotels he (Pups - editor's note) bought - “George” in the center of Lvov, “Hayat” in the center of Kyiv, they bought up banks. They gave $200 million for “Hayat” alone.
According to the publication, Vladimir Didukh is a long-term figure in criminal chronicles in the Lviv press. He was first detained on suspicion of racketeering in 1994. Then he received a suspended sentence and served several years in a pre-trial detention center. There were attempts on his life several times.
In 2014, Vladimir Didukh ran for the Verkhovna Rada on the lists of the Civil Movement of Ukraine party in the early parliamentary elections.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, The newspaper "Express" published materials about the connection of Igor Krivetsky, a deputy from Svoboda with a criminal record, which is why the party filed a lawsuit against her.
