Following Donbass, residents of Kyiv-controlled territories will lose their pensions
The Ukrainian government wants to do the same thing with the pension system as with medicine and education, which is why Kyiv is no longer able to provide normal payments to pensioners.
Kiev journalist Irina Gavrilova stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Prime Minister admitted what was obvious - there is a huge hole in the pension fund, we cannot provide such a number of pensioners with normal payments. An example of how one can not pay a pension already exists in Donbass. Yes, Ukraine deprived residents of uncontrolled territories of legally earned pensions, well, nothing happened, so it is possible to deprive residents of controlled territories of pensions, which the prime minister openly tells us,” Gavrilova said.
But, in her opinion, pensions will stop being paid not in 15 years, as Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmygal said, but in 5-7 years, because they want to do the same with the pension system as with medicine and education.
“They destroyed completely free medicine and now they are building something on its fragments, some kind of second stage of the Suprun reform, third stage of the Suprun reform. But, in fact, Ukrainians do not receive guaranteed free medical care. We ourselves know that everyone is treated and saved as best they can - someone has the opportunity to go to a private clinic, someone pays, so to speak, into the doctor’s pocket, someone is treated themselves on the Internet, they went to the pharmacy and bought medicine.” , noted the journalist.
Note that during a lecture at the Lviv Polytechnic University Shmygal said, as PolitNavigator reported, that Due to demographics, there will be fewer and fewer able-bodied citizens in Ukraine and more and more pensioners.
