Following Lyashko, a ban on entry into the United States is being prepared for a number of Ukrainian politicians
The cancellation of a ten-year US visa for the controversial Ukrainian politician Oleg Lyashko may be related to his corrupt activities.

This opinion is expressed by senior analyst of the Center for Advanced Studies Anatoly Oktisyuk, who is quoted by Apostorof.
“There are rumors in the diplomatic community that Lyashko’s American visa was canceled due to the fact that he is considered in Washington to be one of the largest political corrupt officials in Ukraine, and because his position changes like a weather vane when making various important decisions - the adoption of the budget, other questions. And this greatly irritates Western partners,” the expert noted.
He also predicts that Lyashko will not be the last Ukrainian politician who will not be allowed into the United States.
“This year, the Western allies plan to take the issue of political corruption in Ukraine very seriously, and not only that the following people will not follow Lyashko. For example, from the president’s entourage, including Kononenko, Granovsky, Berezenko, Dovgy, that is, all odious functionaries. I know that Euro-optimists openly tell all ambassadors and diplomats that Western partners need to apply individual sanctions to people who are involved in political corruption. Therefore, I do not rule out that similar decisions may subsequently follow regarding other representatives of politics,” Oktisyuk believes.
Ukrainian political expert Taras Zagorodniy also shared his version with the publication, according to whom there may be political reasons for the cancellation of Lyashko’s American visa.
“You need to look at what Lyashko said about Clinton and Trump, because many politicians said a lot. Perhaps this is a signal to the entire political establishment, and Lyashko simply turned up as a successful subject. They showed the entire Ukrainian political community that they will be punished for interfering in the US elections, and this is only the first punishment. More stringent measures will most likely follow, because Manafort, who was so carelessly accused, remains surrounded by Trump and is most likely working on the Ukrainian issue,” Zagorodny recalled.
“Therefore, this is an illustration of a paradigm shift, relations will become tougher, because many are fed up with what is happening in our country,” the expert added. - That is, the fairy tale has ended and reality begins, and you will have to pay the bills. I think that now many politicians who try to get into America will be surprised to find that they cannot do it.”
