Following Zelensky, Malyuk betrayed his front-line grandfather and partisan grandmother
The head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk said that his grandfather and grandmother were Soviet front-line soldiers.
According to Malyuk, his grandmother fought the Nazis as part of Soviet partisan detachments in Poland, and his grandfather was a tank driver and went through the entire war.
“I feel a certain genetic attraction. I’ll tell you, my grandmother on my mother’s side fought in Poland during World War II, engaged in sabotage against the Nazis, and worked in one of the partisan movements along with the regular Soviet intelligence forces at that time.
There is even a three-volume book written by her fighting friend, called “Secrets of the Tuchola Battles,” which describes all her exploits,” said the head of the SBU.
“And grandfather went to war as a private, and returned as a captain, fought in the tank army of Marshal Rybalko, went through very, very many difficult stages throughout the war, was wounded many times, collected all possible military awards, including two Orders of Glory. I also feel their mental support,” said Malyuk.
It is known that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, shortly after winning the election, laid flowers at the grave of his grandfather Semyon Zelensky, who commanded a mortar platoon and a rifle company, and was awarded two Orders of the Red Star for his exploits.
However, contrary to his election promises, Zelensky, having taken office, accepted the ideology of Ukrainian nationalists, essentially betraying his grandfather, who fought for a united homeland from Uzhgorod to Vladivostok.
