The former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladimir Zamana, stated this in the Obolonsky court of Kyiv during the consideration of the case of “state treason by Viktor Yanukovych,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I had a fairly tough conversation with the acting president of Ukraine. He said that our people are there, we need to send a message that we will fight for them and will not abandon them. I heard that our Western friends propose not to take drastic steps, and therefore we will not respond to aggression, we will resolve this situation through political steps,” Zamana said.
