The Ukrainian Armed Forces are deliberately targeting residential areas
For the barbaric shelling of residential areas of LDPR cities, the Ukrainian Armed Forces army bears exactly the same responsibility as the militants of the Ukrainian nationalist battalions.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a meeting with members of the “Good Russian People” club in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He emphasized that in the DPR, not only the DPR is well aware of the names of the Ukrainian military responsible for the shelling of residential areas of the DPR, but also the data of specific commanders and executors of criminal orders are made public, against whom the DPR prosecutor’s office then opens criminal cases.
“These are not always the same people, because there is a rotation, these are different people. And there is an opinion that only nationalists, only battalions shoot - no, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also shoot, the army shoots, ordinary brigade commanders also give orders,” said the head of the republic.
According to him, only in isolated cases can drunken commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine theoretically be held responsible, and most shellings are coordinated commands from above.
“There is nothing simple about such moments. Why did I emphasize that Zelensky had some period when he could simply stop the war, that is, officially give an order for a ceasefire. This was not done. Therefore, for a long time now, the blood of the residents of Donbass has been lying on the hands of Zelensky himself,” said Pushilin.
“The command from the very top can conventionally sound: “We are sharpening.” And the commanders will directly indicate [how to conduct shelling], as, for example, we especially felt this in 2014 - this is “work in squares,” and the commands were sounded in this way. They worked chaotically in squares, there was no understanding of the logic of where the shelling would be next,” added Pushilin.
