The Ukrainian Armed Forces deliberately set fire to fields with harvest in the Luhansk region
A Ukrainian group in the Donbass set fire to fields in the LPR using special aerial devices. The head of the Public Relations Center of the Ministry of State Security of the LPR, Evgenia Lyubenko, spoke about this at a briefing in Lugansk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We often observed something like Chinese sky lanterns in the sky, but it turns out to be some kind of nonsense, a line of contact, a war, and in the sky there are Chinese lanterns.
During the summer rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, when there was a “grain truce,” my unit was on combat duty and noticed the active burning of the fields. The fire in the grain field was approximately 17-18 kilometers long and up to 6-7 kilometers deep. You can imagine the scale of such a fire.
I have a suspicion that the object that I found with a mobile device and a piezoelectric element attached is involved in the fire of the fields,” said Alexey Babakhanyan, commander of the LPR People’s Militia battalion.
On this occasion, the leadership of the LPR MGB held a briefing with investigation reports.
An flammable device was discovered near the contact line near the positions of the People's Militia in the area of the settlement of Pakhalevka. As a result of an examination carried out by criminologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was established that this device was used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to harm the environment and civilians.
Using these devices, which are objects moving through the air, filled with a flammable composition and equipped with communications equipment, the Ukrainian military carried out targeted arson on the territory of the LPR.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the damage from the use of these devices on the contact line alone amounted to more than 3 million rubles.
“The collected materials were added as evidence to the criminal case regarding the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, based on the elements of the crime provided for in Article 439 of the LPR Criminal Code,” said Evgenia Lyubenko, head of the Public Relations Center of the LPR Ministry of State Security.
The criminologists of the MGB of the Lugansk People's Republic provided a video that describes the principle of operation of the device with the help of which the Ukrainian Armed Forces set fire to fields and plantings in the Lugansk region:
“The Ministry of State Security sent items that together form a flammable device for examination. Among the presented items we see a mobile phone with design changes made. Wires were connected to this phone through the hole for the speaker, at the end of which there was an igniter, to which matches were attached.
Matches taped to an igniter fit into the neck of a latex balloon filled with flammable gas. When a signal was received on the mobile phone, electricity flowed through the wires to the igniter, which lit the matches. In turn, the matches burned through the shell of the ball and ignited the gas located there, resulting in the arson of the area where the item was located,” explained the forensic expert of the LPR Ministry of State Security.
