Ukrainian terrorists are deliberately setting fire to wheat crops in the fields of the Donetsk People's Republic.

The head of the press service of the UNM DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, announced this today at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Despite the onset of the “grain truce,” the DPR continues to record facts of genocide of civilians living in territory controlled by the Republic. In particular, the command of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, angry at the fact that the DPR People's Militia units were superior to them in combat capability and motivation, chose new tactics for carrying out sabotage actions.

“So, on July 7, in the Novoazovsky district, brigade units carried out a mortar attack on agricultural fields sown with wheat. During the investigation, it was established that the enemy purposefully used incendiary mines to destroy crops. The resulting fire was extinguished, but as a result of sabotage, 120 hectares of wheat were completely destroyed,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
