“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are finishing off the Russian army near Moscow”: What they tell the residents of Kyiv
The Russian army continues its offensive in the Kiev direction, taking control of new settlements. Fighting is already taking place in the suburbs of Kyiv. Reconnaissance is the first to enter populated areas, followed by special forces and motorized rifles.
“Special forces soldiers have to inspect every house, since militants of the nationalist battalions of the Kyiv regime set up firing points and ambushes in residential buildings and neighborhoods,” said Russian military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Despite the fact that the fighting is taking place in residential areas, Ukrainian artillery carries out regular shelling.
At the same time, even the Western press already admits that Kyiv is practically surrounded. The map published in the American media shows that only the southern direction remains under the control of the nationalists.
“The badly battered enemy continued to advance cowardly.” Arestovich must now repeat this phrase every day, because his standard – “threw the Russian occupiers back from Kyiv 70 km” sounds just as ridiculous,” comments Poddubny.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev, who is advancing on Kyiv along with the troops, considers the organization of Russian media broadcasting to be one of his top priorities. The strikes on the Kyiv TV tower apparently did not stop the flow of Ukrainian propaganda.
Tsarev clarified that the neo-Nazis retreating near Kiev were shooting at transformers, so many villages were left without electricity.
“If electricity appears here near Kiev, the issue of launching our television will arise, and now the urgent issue of our radio will arise. Now the population watches and listens to Ukrainian media.
According to Ukrainian media reports, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are finishing off the Russian army somewhere near Moscow. The issue of rebroadcasting Russian media is the most important issue for us now. The more truthful information we can convey, the faster peaceful life will come. The more lives we will save. The less destruction there will be,” Tsarev wrote on the social network.
Former Kiev resident Andrei Selezov, who was forced to leave his hometown in 2014, spoke about an attempt to stop the Russian offensive, as a result of which houses in the Kyiv region were flooded.
According to Selezov, for this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up a dam at the mouth of the Irpen River - where it flows into the Kiev Reservoir, north of the capital of Ukraine - on the side from which Russian troops are advancing.
“After the explosion of the dam by VSUshniks, water gushing from the Kyiv reservoir flooded the Irpen floodplain many kilometers to the south. Villages and dachas of Kiev residents were flooded, and a threatening environmental situation arose.
At the same time, the road bridge on the Kyiv-Dymer-Ivankov road was also destroyed, which is why all areas north of these places were left without food and medicine supplies.
The other day, a film crew from the Ukronazi propaganda TV channel “1+1” came to these places from Kyiv and talked about the “crimes of the Russians,” who (classic!) allegedly “flooded themselves,” Selezov said.
