This is stated in a statement by Andrey Marochko, a representative of the People's Militia of the LPR.
Also, according to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to suffer non-combat losses in the ATO zone.
“So, on April 4, as a result of careless handling of weapons, one serviceman from the 54th mechanized brigade was killed and one was injured. Also, while moving a ZIL-131 vehicle, which belonged to the control platoon of the 1st Gadn 44th Brigade, it was blown up in the area of the settlement. Troitskoye, in its minefields. As a result of the explosion, the driver of the car platoon, Private Boris Nikolaevich Nagachevsky, born 07.02.66/XNUMX/XNUMX, was injured of varying degrees of severity, and the car cannot be restored,” he said.
Andrei Marochko also noted that LPR units “do not react to provocations from the Ukrainian Armed Forces” and “strictly observe the regime of “silence” introduced on April 1.” The republic hopes that “the Ukrainian side will still gather courage and fulfill its obligations to withdraw its forces.”
