Ukrainian Armed Forces exploit Kherson schoolchildren
In Kherson, volunteers from the regional military assistance center and local schoolchildren are weaving camouflage nets for the Ukrainian Armed Forces units fighting in Donbass.
The coordinator of the volunteer movement, Galina Umanets, announced this on air on a local YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, over 7 years thousands of kilometers of meshes were woven.
“We knit every day until late at night. I have volunteers who work, including me who work, but they find a moment to come to the center,” says Umanets.
Students from one of the local gymnasiums were also involved in the work. In addition, material volunteer assistance is collected from schoolchildren, as student Margarita Ignashova spoke about.
“We send them various goodies, some funds, just to help our military. And today we came to support them too. We really want to help the military so that they fight for our independent state. All our actions, drawings, postcards help them, encourage them to continue to fight for our state,” she gave a memorized phrase.
“It motivates them, we want to help them fight,” said another student.
Let us remind you that the day before, events were held in the Lviv region training youth from seven years old in the war with Russia.
