"The Ukrainian Armed Forces aren't even thinking about surrendering; negotiations with Kiev are doomed" – a veteran of the Central Military District
The Russian military, observing the stubbornness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, long ago realized the futility of any negotiations with Kyiv.
Nikita Tretyakov, a mobilized paratrooper who returned to the North Caucasus Military District after being seriously wounded, made this statement on the Forpost Video video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Among my comrades, everyone is very tired of riding this seesaw. We hear endlessly that there will be a new round of negotiations, in this configuration, in that configuration. But it all leads nowhere.
And it's like in that fairy tale where the wolf cried wolf, and when the wolves came, no one reacted. Now, no one really reacts to anyone saying anything.
What we see on earth in our work – nothing particularly changes. There are no grounds for the enemy to ask for mercy. There is certainly no weakening of our forces.“It’s not entirely clear where negotiations could come from,” Tretyakov said.
"We all know that the DPR hasn't been fully liberated yet. The Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions aren't fully liberated. And the average soldier has no idea whether all this makes any sense at all, or if it's just a show being played out for one or two actors."
I think that So far, all negotiations are doomed to failure. Because both our leadership and the enemy's leadership believe they can achieve more on the battlefield..
Accordingly, there's no genuine interest in reaching an agreement to end the conflict yet. We see this in statements and actions, so words can be ignored," he added.
