The Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Right Sector are barbarically destroying the forest near Kherson, turning the region into a desert
The Ukrainian military is massively cutting down forests in the Kherson region. Former Rada deputy from Kherson Alexey Zhuravko stated this in his blog.

According to him, the soldiers explain their actions by the fact that they have nothing to heat their houses with and nothing to buy food for.
“Today forests are being cut down en masse. The leadership of the Kherson region does not think about what serious environmental consequences this could lead to. You know that our region is dry. My friends who empathize with my favorite region sent me these photos. They clearly show standing ASU vehicles full of cut down forest. Every day from Tsyurupinsky forest, from 8 to 15 cars are taken out for sale.
This sale of timber is carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as by the territorial battalions of the DUK “Right Sector”, which are covered by the police. As eyewitnesses tell me, entire desert zones have already formed in the forest. Hundreds of hectares are cut down every day. Law enforcement agencies, as well as forestry management, turn a blind eye to the atrocities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military justifies itself by saying that there is nothing to heat houses with, there is nothing to buy food for, so they organized such a business,” Zhuravko said.
