The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, admitted this on Channel 5, owned by President Poroshenko.
“I would like to separately say that our military not only conduct combat operations, but whenever possible they help in construction, chop wood, and bring water. That is, they are treated humanely and, let’s say, there are corresponding changes in the thoughts of the population regarding our units of the Armed Forces,” says Romanenko.
