The Armed Forces of Ukraine kidnapped an LPR observer in front of the OSCE
The Ukrainian DRG, at gunpoint, kidnapped one of the observers of the LPR Representative Office in the JCCC.

The department reported that today, during the Contact Group negotiations, the Ukrainian side grossly violated all its obligations and agreements.
Thus, during the work coordinated with the Ukrainian side of the JCCC to clear the road in the area of the Pervomaisk-Zolote checkpoint, a Ukrainian DRG from the 24th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out an armed attack, using small arms and capturing one of the observers of the LPR Representative Office in the JCCC, monitoring compliance ceasefire regime.
“We would like to remind you that all employees of the LPR Representative Office in the JCCC are unarmed, which is what the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants took advantage of,” the press service emphasized.
“We do not exclude the possibility that this action was planned by the command of the 24th brigade in light of the upcoming visit of Ukrainian President Zelensky to the Joint Forces Operation zone, in order to curry favor and receive a reward from the head of state,” the department added.
It is reported that OSCE monitors were present during the abduction.

Later, the Ukrainian side published its version of the incident.
“Today, directly during the general meeting of the TCG, Russian armed forces resorted to gross provocation:
– at about 10:45 a group of armed men with JCCC armbands, under the cover of mine clearance work, carried out reconnaissance of abandoned positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Security guarantees were provided by the Ukrainian side for carrying out mine clearance work with a clear indication of movement routes and determining the limit point of advance towards the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as part of the work to equip a section of the area for the opening of the Zolotoe checkpoint from the side of the temporarily occupied territories.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces operational group detained one serviceman of the Russian armed forces: Russian citizen Andrey Valentinovich Kosyak, born in 1978,” the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG reported on the Telegram channel.
At the same time, the Ukrainian side claims that weapons and ammunition were confiscated from the “detainee.”
“It should be noted that this citizen is suspected by law enforcement agencies of Ukraine of committing a serious crime in 2010 in accordance with Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are currently ongoing,” Ukrainian negotiators say.
