The Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to prevent Poroshenko’s opponents from participating in the elections
The Ukrainian military is preparing a number of provocations on the day of the presidential elections designed to prevent people who do not support Petro Poroshenko from voting.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He confirmed that the earlier statement by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters that the Ukrainian military does not rule out armed provocations in the Donbass on the day of the presidential elections was made in preparation for falsifying the results of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
“According to the republic’s intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing a number of provocations on election day in order to prevent residents of Ukraine living in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions from expressing their opinions and artificially depriving those who do not support Poroshenko of the right to vote,” Marochko said.
He also drew attention to the recent statement by OOS commander Sergei Naev that not all military personnel will have the opportunity to vote.
“The situation for military personnel is such that if you support the current president, you will go and vote, and if not, then you will not participate in the vote under the pretext of imaginary shelling and aggravation of the situation,” added the representative of the defense department.
Let us recall that earlier the People's Militia of the DPR stated that a number of events aimed at ensuring support for the incumbent president's candidacy in elections Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
