Yesterday evening, Ukrainian artillery shelled the center of the city of Yasinovataya in the DPR. Military correspondent Mikhail Andronik reports this on his blog.

According to him, a total of 16 122-mm shells were fired at the city.
As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed and others were wounded.
“Yasinovataya, city center. Smoke-filled houses and a strong smell of gas everywhere. The Ministry of Emergency Situations set up headquarters in the courtyard of one of the houses. There are no windows in the whole area. The temperature outside is sub-zero. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 16 122-mm shells at Yasinovataya. 3 people were injured, 1 died. Perhaps by the morning the number of victims will increase,” the journalist said.
In turn, the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, clarified that there are no military installations at the site of the shelling, which was conducted from Avdeevka, which is controlled by Ukraine.
The absence of positions of the DPR armed forces in the center of Yasinovataya was also confirmed by local residents.
