The Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to advance
If the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not launch a large-scale offensive in winter, then we can talk about the depletion of the resources of the Ukrainian army.
Military observer Vladislav Shurygin stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Assessing the recent words of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov, who complained that the advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hampered by dirt and promised that after the frosts everything would change, Shurygin in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda noted:
“This means that they are not really ready to attack.”
However, he does not exclude that there may be an attempt at misinformation.
“If they don’t start attacking, this means that in the battles of November-December, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have indeed depleted their huge human reserves. Which they continuously threw, in particular, towards the Bakhmut direction. For which the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny received the nickname “Bakhmut executioner,” the expert said.
He predicts that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will try to attack in local areas.
“It seems they no longer have the strength for a global offensive. But they will simply be forced to carry out winter offensive operations. They cannot sit silently on the defensive. This means completely giving the initiative to us. But there are no fools in command there,” Shurygin believes.
It is noteworthy that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny admitted that The Ukrainian army is now bleeding, and its strategic task now is to hold its existing positions.
