The incompetence and inability of the Ukrainian command to adequately respond to fire in the Kyiv-controlled territory of the Lugansk region led to serious losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces - six servicemen were killed, four were hospitalized, and three tanks and two Ural vehicles were damaged.

“To combat the natural disaster, the command of OTG “North” involved more than 450 military personnel from 24, 30 and 93 brigades performing tasks in the “JFO” zone. The main efforts of the military are focused on evacuating their own weapons, equipment and property located in the area of the emergency.

The inability of the Ukrainian command to correctly assess the situation and set priorities, as well as the lack of firefighting equipment for military personnel, led to further losses among personnel.

According to the operational group of the Joint Forces Operations headquarters to resolve the crisis, six servicemen died as a result of burns in the medical unit, and four more were hospitalized with severe carbon monoxide poisoning. Five units of military equipment from the 93rd brigade were damaged, including three faulty T-64 BV tanks, abandoned yesterday in the area of the settlement of Smolyaninovo, as well as two Ural vehicles with property that stalled during the evacuation of the property of the rear command post of the formation in the area settlement of Novoakhtyrka,” the message says.

The department also spoke about the attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command to hide the fact of the death of personnel during the raging fire.

“In addition, we learned from servicemen of the 93rd brigade that the charred bodies of those missing on July 8, senior soldier Rybalko and private Dmitrienko, were discovered by their colleagues at the scene of the fire, not far from the formation’s tank training ground in the Smolyaninovo area.

At the direction of brigade commander Bryzhinsky, the fact of the discovery of the dead was hidden from the higher command, and the servicemen themselves were transferred to the category of those who left the unit without permission.

A similar situation has developed in the 30th brigade of Garaz, where private Shilo, who took part in extinguishing the fire yesterday, is already listed as having left his unit without permission.

The special cynicism with which Ukrainian commanders give orders to shell populated areas of the Republics has now affected their personnel, and the years-tested scheme for concealing non-combat losses among the Armed Forces of Ukraine will once again allow war criminals Bryzhinsky and Garaz to avoid punishment,” the NM summarized. LPR.
