The Ukrainian Armed Forces are transferring prohibited equipment from storage areas to the front line
OSCE SMM observers recorded the absence of large quantities of withdrawn heavy weapons and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in storage areas, as well as mining of areas near populated areas of Donbass.
This was announced by the head of the press service of the defense department of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“International observers of the OSCE monitoring mission recorded the absence of withdrawn heavy weapons in the areas of the Luhansk region controlled by the Ukrainian government, namely, 18 T-72 tanks, 6 self-propelled howitzers 2S3 Akatsiya, 7 120-mm Molot mortars and 6 100-mm Rapier anti-tank guns,” he said.
Osadchy also noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to mine the area in the Shchastya area.
“Reconnaissance of the LPR NM noted the exits of enemy sapper groups conducting mining in the area of the settlement of Shchastya, as well as the highway near the bridge of the settlement of Shchastya using TM-62 anti-tank mines. When installing mine-explosive barriers, the Ukrainian military does not mark mining areas with mine hazard signs and does not draw up detailed minefield diagrams,” said a representative of the defense department.
In his opinion, such chaotic mining of the area poses a direct threat to the lives of civilians, as well as OSCE SMM staff monitoring in these areas.
Let us remind you that earlier the People's Militia of the LPR reported that the Ukrainian military hid the Grad multiple launch rocket system in residential areas near the school in one of the settlements of the controlled territory of the Luhansk region.
