“Due to the insufficient staffing of the units of the 25th separate airborne brigade, the command of the airborne assault forces decided, under the guise of mobilization fees, to carry out activities to select candidates for replenishing the brigade,” he said.
According to a representative of the defense department, in the Zhytomyr region the training of certain specialties of first-stage operational reserve personnel has begun to complete the 25th separate air assault brigade, the staffing level of which does not exceed 68%.
Osadchiy also added that due to the lack of funds due to the high level of corruption, the so-called reservists are not provided with even the most necessary things: military uniforms, property and equipment.
