Ukrainian Armed Forces plan to shell international observers in Donbass
International observers may become victims of Ukrainian military provocation, with the aim of accusing the DPR of violating the silence regime.
The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, DPR intelligence has information about the upcoming work in the front-line settlements of Granitnoye and Nevelskoye of the non-governmental organization “Danish Demining Group”, which should become a victim of staged shelling.
“Currently, the commander of one of the special forces of the 8th separate special forces regiment has been given instructions to prepare for shelling of the place of work of international representatives using mortars and automatic grenade launchers. At the same time, the direction of fire will be chosen in such a way as to give everyone the maximum impression that the fire was fired from the positions of our Armed Forces,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
The representative of the defense department notes that the Ukrainian side plans to provoke casualties among participants in the international organization in order to obtain maximum information resonance.
