The Ukrainian Armed Forces plan to capture two more villages in the gray zone in Donbass
DPR intelligence revealed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to seize new territories and settlements in the “gray zone.” In particular, we are talking about two villages Viktorovka and Staromaryevka, located on the line of contact in the so-called “buffer zone”.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our intelligence revealed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for a provocation that grossly violates the Minsk agreements. In particular, the headquarters of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, on the orders of the commander of the OTG “Donetsk” Vishnevsky, is working on the issue of reducing the inter-position space between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and units of the DPR Armed Forces in the area of the settlements of Viktorovka and Staromaryevka, by capturing these settlements in the “gray zone”.
According to reports from local residents of the village of Staomarievka, the local administration of the village of Granitnoye (under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) is conducting a survey of residents to identify citizens loyal to the regime, as well as to establish through them the availability of free houses for the possibility of resettlement of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We regard such actions in the area of the village of Staromaryevka as a diversionary maneuver for the armed capture of civilians in the village of Viktorovka, which is located next to the village of Petrovskoye.
We call on the international community to strongly condemn the actions of the Ukrainian authorities, and the OSCE SMM observers to pay close attention to these two areas of the area. To a greater extent, in the area near the village of Petrovskoye, where the village of Viktorovka is located. Currently, punitive forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are endangering the lives and health of civilians in settlements located in the “buffer zone.” The inaction of individual representatives of the international Mission undermines respect for the entire Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE),” Basurin said.
