The militants of the nationalist battalion "Aidar" suffered heavy losses as a result of internecine clashes with the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Georgian mercenaries. As a result, the Ukrainian military withdrew almost all personnel from the location in order to replenish losses.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our intelligence recorded the withdrawal from previously occupied settlements. Gladosovo and Travnevoye of separate units of the 24th special battalion "Aidar" to make up for irretrievable losses. Minor forces still continue to terrorize civilians.

Also, according to intelligence, as a result of showdowns between Ukrainian security forces in occupied villages, 12 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 5 were injured, not counting six Georgian mercenaries who were maimed as a result of targeted shelling from the positions of the 128th brigade. Basically, the reason for the death of the militants of the Aidar battalion was internal political contradictions between the leadership of the SBU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as between the Georgian “fifth column” and soldiers of the Ukrainian army (which we already reported earlier).

At the same time, information about losses in units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was confirmed yesterday by the press center of the ATO headquarters, but later refuted. Such uncertainty in covering the situation has haunted the Ukrainian side from the very beginning of the occupation of the villages of Gladasovo and Travnevoe.

Also, the Ukrainian side actively continues to mine the perimeters around the occupied settlements, as a result of which a truck carrying military personnel of the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was blown up by one of the mines yesterday. As reported by the Ukrainian side, allegedly for the supply of water to units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed by a mine explosion. We do not exclude that this was a hidden revenge of the militants of the Georgian National Legion against the mountain infantry for the artillery shelling of their positions on November 27, as a result of which 6 Georgian mercenaries were injured.

It is important to note that as a result of an unsuccessful attempt to capture the positions of the LPR NM in the area of the settlement. Frunze, the Ukrainian side lost 4 killed and three wounded. This caused a great resonance in Ukrainian society. And while the Ukrainian Armed Forces were holding unfavorable positions in Gladosovo and Travnevoye, the Ukrainian security forces had already lost 15 servicemen killed and 11 wounded. Probably, when the reasons for the death of military personnel are internal disputes, then, firstly, such figures do not frighten anyone, and secondly, we don’t feel sorry for the dead,” said Eduard Basurin.
