As a result of the crash of a Ukrainian military helicopter Mi-8 in the Rivne region, four Ukrainian Armed Forces officers were killed.

The names of the dead are also given:
1. The crew commander is the commander of the 16th separate brigade (Brody, Lviv region), Colonel Igor Mazepa.
2. Pilot-navigator, senior lieutenant Vladislav Popenko.
3. On-board aviation technician-instructor, captain Vasily Romanyuk.
4. Onboard aviation technician, senior lieutenant Pavel Datsyuk.
In turn, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky ordered to understand the causes of the crash.
“Not a good morning. Military helicopter crash in Rivne region. Four dead soldiers. I instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Khomchak, to take the investigation into the circumstances of the tragedy under personal control,” Zelensky wrote on social networks.
