The Ukrainian Armed Forces will try to provoke the DPR to fire in front of the NATO delegation
The Ukrainian side is using the arrival of a NATO delegation in Donbass to provoke the DPR to open fire.
Official representative of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the arrival of NATO troops could become a reason for an upcoming military provocation against the DPR.
“We do not rule out that in the coming days, in order to discredit our Armed Forces in the eyes of the world community, and also to prepare “irrefutable” evidence of aggression on the part of our Republic for the arriving NATO representatives, the Ukrainian occupiers will carry out provocative shelling of our settlements, as well as staged shelling of their positions. These actions are traditionally staged to beg for further financial and military assistance from Western states, and its subsequent theft by Ukrainian officials,” said Eduard Basurin.
It should be noted that the leading media outlets of Ukraine and several Western countries urgently sent their journalists to the place of arrival of the foreign delegation.
“Our Republic will not succumb to these provocations and will continue to observe the truce,” noted the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
