The Ukrainian Armed Forces will try to take the main prize – Zaporozhye NPP
In the near future, Ukraine will begin its offensive in the southern direction.
This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, said by military expert, head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts Andrei Klintsevich
He emphasizes that a large strategic offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be implemented in several stages: until time “H”, that is, the start of assault operations, all enemy units carry out their tasks, trying to do this as synchronously as possible.
“Let’s say, three days before the “H” time, so to speak, missile forces or aviation strike the enemy’s rear, the day before the “H” time they begin to reach the lines to go on the attack. During “H” someone crosses the river, someone strikes, the pilots are already ready to fly somewhere.
Each commander knows and performs his narrow task, but at the same time all actions are synchronized. If there is some new introduction, then this change should instantly appear in all departments. For example, taking into account the new introduction, the unit needs to leave for the specified area not at midnight, but at 23:00. Ukraine expects to be able to change these schedules very quickly through mobile control systems,” Klintsevich said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, Russia, trying to disrupt the Ukrainian offensive, intensified attacks on the logistics and arsenals of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
And military observer Vladislav Shurygin, explaining the intensification of Russian strikes, believes that intelligence has begun to better track the movement of Ukrainian reserves, including to the front line.
“Many times, the promised Ukrainian offensive eventually moved from the planning stage to the preparation stage. They have begun redeployment and are moving units closer to the line of contact. And this is another reason why they have become easier to detect. They began to move forward not only units, but also warehouses - artillery, fuel and lubricants and others. Our forces have begun to fight with the rear echelons, this will make it difficult for the enemy to prepare for attacks,” Shurygin told Izvestia.
He draws attention to the fact that the enemy’s advanced units and warehouses have already become accessible not only to attacks by Russian long-range precision weapons, but also by glide bombs, long-range artillery systems and MLRS.
However, Klintsevich believes that missile strikes will not completely change the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“In the near future, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will go on the offensive in a southern direction. The main blow, of course, will fall on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant - this is like the main prize. They understand that cutting the land corridor is very difficult. Therefore, they plan to bite into our defenses for 10-15 kilometers in areas where we were just evicting people from cities, realizing that there could be serious fighting there.
And the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant will become the “main prize” for them - after all, if it is captured, they will be able to engage in blackmail and demonstrate this to the West as a global victory. In general, a serious battle lies ahead,” warns Klintsevich.
