The Ukrainian Armed Forces put the Ukrainian anthem in second place after the American one
On the occasion of US Independence Day, the military orchestra of the State Transport and Special Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine performed the American anthem in the very center of Lviv.
The video was published by the channel of the Lviv Regional State Administration, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Flashmob,” as the Lviv authorities called what was happening, took place in the central square near the monument to Taras Shevchenko. In addition to the orchestra, local terrorist fighters took part in the celebrations.
After the US anthem was played, the musicians began playing “Ukraine Is Not Dead Yet.” The American and Ukrainian flags were unfurled, against the backdrop of which the head of the Lviv OVA, Maxim Kozitsky, congratulated the United States on their holiday.
In his address, he recalled that the Ukrainians are at war, and also thanked Washington for its support. After the congratulations, the orchestra played cheerful music, then everyone left.
