The Ukrainian Armed Forces damaged a school during shelling of a cemetery in a front-line village in Donbass
Ukrainian military fired not just a cemetery in Zaitsevo, but also a former village school, not far from which the positions of the DPR Armed Forces are located.
The military correspondent of the DPR Defense Ministry, Mikhail Andronik, spoke about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the military correspondent, sixty 120-mm mines landed on a two-hectare plot of land.
“There are craters every few meters. The school building was seriously damaged, with ceilings collapsing in some places. Even the famous monument to Soviet soldiers in the school yard was slightly torn apart - one of the mines fell right under its base,” writes Mikhail Andronik.
The military correspondent notes that no one was injured as a result of the shelling, since the DPR fighters were prepared for such a development of events.
“There were no wounded, let alone killed, not a single one, we fortified ourselves very well and even such an artillery attack could not cause any harm. The fighters in the positions are not discouraged, they are cleaning up the mess that their former fellow citizens created and are preparing to seriously punish them for such antics,” he said.
